The Motorola TalkAbout Distance and Distance DPS radios have a rechargeable NiCd battery pack (HNN9056 and/or HNN9044). Use of this battery pack is the best method for powering the radio. This type of battery pack has a 18-24 month life expectancy. You can determine the age of your battery from the date code on the back of the battery above the stop sign. The first digit is the year and the next two are the week of the year. Ex: 919 would read 2009 the 19th week. The DPS model came with both a NiCd battery tray and an Alkaline battery tray. While the NiCd battery pack is the best option for fully powering your radio, along with being the most economical option, in a pinch or when charging is not available the 6 Alkaline batteries will power the radio for up to 18 hours. Note: Replacement battery trays are no longer available, it is advisable to keep both trays. If one fails, you will have the other as a backup. The TalkAbout Distance is a repairable radio. The consumer replaceable parts are the NiCd battery pack, belt clip, antenna and charger. On May 06, 2009|. Note: This job is made much easier if you have a frame removal tool. MOTOROLA DPS OWNER'S MANUAL Pdf Download. 0 (Emergency Channel)SInterference Eliminator Code Chart. User manual, users manuals, user guide, operating instructions. Motorola Talkabout / Distance DPS have up to 5-miles Range* 10 Available Channels 38 Interference Eliminator Codes Built in Vox (Hands Free) Channel Scan Audio. 1) Carefully remove battery tray from radio. Be careful not to disturb or break the mylar ribbon on the back of the tray, and do not disturb the solder contacts, as these trays are no longer available. 2) Look inside the radio where you just removed the battery tray. You will find the housing has a channel or gutter running up both sides. At the top of the gutter is the place we are looking for, a plastic latch or ear. 3) Using a frame removal tool, or if needed two small screw drivers, slide them up the gutter on the inside of the housing on the right and left, until you reach the small ears. The frame removal tool will lift these ears and release the guts of the radio from the chassis. 4) Once released, carefully slide the component board up and out of the housing. The top plate will remain attached to the component board. This step is tricky, as it is easy to rip components off the component board when sliding in or out of the housing. FYI: Flat rate repair is usually available at facilities servicing the TalkAbout Distance and Distance DPS for a current rate of $69 ea. Best regards. Jun 20, 2011|. Once the tray is gone, the radio is not functional, nor can it be repaired. Best wishes on your search and please post back if you do find one. Best regards. Aug 13, 2010|. You can obtain a wall adapter style charger for your radio at your local Motorola dealer, or online at Sidenote: The rechargeable battery is good for about 2 to 3 years. Five- piece from Toledo, Ohio Matt Hammitt (lead vocals), Mark Graalman (drums), Chris Rohman and Pete Prevost (guitars), and Dan Gartley replacing Steve Goodrum(bass). Often quoted as 'Electrifying Christian Rock' with the rock edge of bands like Foo Fighters and songwriting of Matchbox 20. They are mostly known for a trio of chart-topping hits—“Everything About You,” “The Fight Song” and a cover. Chris Rohman also wanted to share thoughts on behalf of he and the rest of the band on Matt’s departure and the future of Sanctus Real. Public in gospel and. Sanctus Real's full-length studio album Message for the Masses was. And the band attended 2001's Gospel Music Week in Nashville to distribute copies of the. Sanctus Real has consistently brought audiences closer to God through music since 2002, and continue to do so with their new song, ',' off their album The Dream (September 16, 2014). 'When we started writing this album,' says lead singer Matt Hammitt, 'it was coming off a couple of years that were incredibly challenging. [I was] personally and internally going through chaos inside of me. In all of that I really reached a point where I felt lower than I've ever been.' After crying out to God to come through and speak into his life, Hammitt declares, 'God showed up, and he touched my heart, and he made me feel new again.' 'Lay It Down,' follows the song ',' off their album Run (February 5, 2013), speaking of the importance of prayer. 'We wrote the song 'Pray' because these are anxious times. Sometimes it’s not world news that leaves me anxious, but parts of my own little world that seem to be falling apart,' lead singer Matt Hammitt explains. 'The pressure of holding it all together is daunting when I get to thinking it’s on my own shoulders. Sometimes I find myself tossing my hands up in the air and asking in an exasperated tone, 'What in the world is going on?' ' He continues, 'In those moments I have to remind myself in every conflict, no matter where we live or which side we’re on, behind every struggle is what the Apostle Paul described in his letter to the Ephesians (Ephesians 6:12). Paul doesn’t leave us to wonder how we should view our struggles or what actions we should take. He tells the Ephesians to stand firm on truth, righteousness, salvation and the word of God. He teaches them, and us, to pray; and not just every so often or when we’re in distress, but to pray at all times. These are indeed anxious times, and heaven and earth are at war. Every public headline and personal challenge is a reminder, as well as a call, not to lift our hands in despair, but rather to continue lifting our hands and voices in prayer.' The journey of Sanctus Real began almost a decade ago while Matt was in high school and he met guitarist Chris Rohman in their sophomore year at Toledo Christian School in Ohio. After leading youth worship together, they eventually started collaborating on their own material, and a partnership was born. Not long after drummer Mark Graalman and bassist Steve Goodrum joined the fun, and the band started recording music together in a nearby garage. Because funds were hard to come by for making albums, Matt and Steve were forced to work telemarketing gigs by day to pay for the sessions. After signing with Sparrow Records, the band released its debut album, Say It Loud in 2002. It was followed by the band's first official #1 hit, a cover of U2’s “” from the compilation project, In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa (2004). From that point on, the band has consistently released new records like clockwork every two years, and rolled out compelling songs such as ',' ',' ',' and ' (), off the album Pieces of a Real Heart (March 5, 2010). 'All the songs we write are about the deepest parts of our being and things that we’re thinking, and things that we’re living through,” Matt shares. |
